Northern Superchargers vs Manchester Originals The Hundred
Indian businessmen and multinational corporations’ have begun purchasing stake and owning teams in most major T20 leagues around the world including the SA20, CPL and ILT20.
The latest entrant in this list of leagues is England’s 100-ball league, the Hundred with Sanjiv Goenka’s RPSG group followed the foot steps of Reliance Industries after securing stakes for the the Manchester Originals a few days ago at a reported £116m.

Days later, the Sun Group has also joined the two teams as they secured a 100% stake of the Northern Supercharges (49% from the ECB and 51% from Yorkshire) at a valuation of £100, making the Superchargers the first team to be 100% sold.

After the three owners of the Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants and the Sunrisers Hyderabad, another one could also join the list after Delhi Capitals’, GMR securing a deal to buy Hampshire last year. They could end up owning the Southern Brave in the league as the 4th Indian owner in the eight-team league.
