Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Today, March 13, the Punjab Police will conclude the registration and application window for the 2025 Constable recruitment. Candidates who meet the requirements may apply online at PunjabPolice.gov.in until 11:55 p.m.

Total Vacancies: 1,746
District Police Cadre (Constable Post): 1,261 vacancies
Armed Police Cadre (Constable Post): 485 vacancies
Eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or university before January 1, 2025.
For ex-servicemen, Matriculation (Class 10) is the minimum educational qualification.
Punjabi Language Requirement:
Candidates must have passed the Class 10 Punjabi language final exam (on or before January 1, 2025) with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.
Any other equivalent Punjabi language test recognized by the Punjab Government is also accepted.
Wards of Defence Service Personnel (who are bona fide residents of Punjab) must pass a Punjabi language exam at the Matriculation level within two years of their appointment or qualify for an exam conducted by the Punjab Education Department.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):
Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age: 28 years
Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per government rules.

General Category: ₹1,200
Ex-Servicemen of Punjab and Lineal Descendants of ESM: ₹500
SC, ST, and EWS Categories: ₹700

Selection process:
Computer-Based Tests (CBT) – Stage 1
Two exams: Paper I and Paper II (Multiple-Choice Questions – MCQs).
Paper I will be evaluated for merit.
Paper II is qualifying in nature.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Qualifying in nature.
Physical Screening Test (PST) – Qualifying in nature.
