If you have won the Mhada lottery Mumbai and you want to surrender it, then mentioned below is the step-by step process to follow.
If you have won a housing unit through Mhada lottery then, once you accept and pay for the property, you need to register it with the Maharashtra state government so that it is present in legal records.
Unsuccessful applicants will get the EMD refund within seven working days.

The Mumbai Building Repairs and Reconstruction Board (MBRRB) of MHADA conducted a computerised lottery draw for 178 eligible applicants listed on the Master List on April 24, 2025 at 1 PM at the Bharatratna Gulzarilal Nanda Hall, Mhada Headquarters, Bandra (East).

This relief will be applied retrospectively to beneficiaries declared eligible in the December 2023 lottery. A new policy framework to this effect will be finalised by April 28, 2025.
