Digvesh back for his third. Fires one in wide outside off after seeing Venkatesh shape up for a reverse sweep. Wide called. Googly again, beats Venky’s outside edge. Four!! Manages to connect the reverse sweep this time, will get a four through third man. Fifty partnership up between the two. Wide outside off again, cut to deep point for a single. Rahane clips one to deep midwicket with soft hands and picks up a couple. Four!! Venkatesh picks up a boundary off the last ball and ends another productive over for the home side.

Avesh back into the attack. Starts with a yorker on the stumps, defended to the legside for a couple. Venkatesh looks to make room and loft one over the offside, the inside edge hits his pads and trickles to the pitch side. Four!! Fifty for Rahane! Sweeps a full ball through fine leg and picks up a boundary.
Short from Bishnoi and Rahane slashes it away for a four. Full and straight from Bishnoi. Venkatesh smashes it over long on for a six.
Digvesh continues. Both Rahane and Venkatesh finding it hard to get a grip on him. Digvesh gets Venkatesh’s edge, but it pops off Pant’s gloves and runs away for a four.
Ravi Bishnoi hangs it wide and Venkatesh Iyer slices it behind third man for a four. Bishnoi persists with his plan. But he misses his length for the last ball. Short and smashed away for a four by Venkatesh.
Digvesh introduced and he makes an instant impact. Slides one away from Narine, who miscues his attempt to go inside out. Safe catch by Markram.

Rahane goes after Akash Deep now. Two fours added. First with a flick and then with a square drive. Narine adds another one with an inside out lofted hit.
Rahane is the new batter for KKR and he gets going with a couple of boundaries. Shardul with the fourth. Full and wide from him and Narine lofts him inside out for a six. Shardul gives away a couple of wides too as LSG’s worries worsen.
Akash Deep goes into QDK’s pads and off it goes for another six. Pant burns a review hoping for an outside edge after QDK misses an Akash Deep outswinger. The LSG pacer thumps one onto QDK’s pads. Nothing from the umpire. Pant reviews again. This time he gets lucky. QDK falls.

Narine and QDK opening for KKR. Akash Deep gifts KKR a wide four straight away. He nearly gives away one more. Pant forced into huge dive to prevent that. Full from Akash Deep now and Narine clicks it away for an easy six.

Vaibhav Arora with the final over. Four!! Back of a length outside off, lofted over mid off and has enough to run away to the boundary. Yorker on off stump, jammed to the offside for a single. Back of a length on the body, Miller pulls it to deep midwicket for a couple. Slaps a wide ball to the deep cover fielder for a single. Pooran looks to loft one over the legside, doesn’t get the connection and will have to settle for a single. Excellent last over from Arora.
Harshit returns. Four!! Back of a length on the stumps, pulled through square leg for a boundary. WICKET!! Slower off-cutter that clips the thigh pad and crashes into the stumps. Samad falls for 6.

Russell with his second over. Four!! Short ball on the body to Pooran, gets a top edge on the pull and it beats Harshit at deep fine. Four!! Length ball on the stumps, Pooran pulls it through the gap between square leg and midwicket for four more. Six!! Short ball on the body, Pooran pulls it over the legside boundary for six more. Four!! Another pull shot, finds the gap through midwicket for another boundary. Six!! Full outside off, lofted gleefully over the head of long off for six!
Six!! Harshit bowls a slower ball into the wicket. Pooran gets down on one knee and deposits it over the legside boundary for six! Six!! Full on the stumps, lofted over midwicket for another six. Pooran picks up a single to long off. Samad returns the favour with an inside edge to short fine. Full and wide outside off, past Pooran’s reach but within the wide guideline.
Andre Russell into the attack. WICKET!! The golden arm strikes. Short outside off, Marsh lofts it over the offside but finds the fielder in the deep.

Angkrish replaces Varun as the impact player. Marsh sweeps Narine through the legside and a good effort from Angkirsh keeps it to two. A single brings Pooran back on strike. Gets a bottom edge on his attempted hoick, trickles to short third. Six!! Length ball on the stumps, Pooran slog sweeps over the legside for six. Six!! Full outside off, lofted over long off for six more. Another expensive over.
Varun with his last over. Six!! Tossed up wide to Pooran, lofts it over extra cover and he has made enough contact for it to fly over the fence. A legbye brings Marsh on strike. Six!! Marsh launches a full ball straight down the ground for six! 16 runs from the over, an wicket-less spell from Varun comes to an end.
Vaibhav back for his third. Six!! Full on the pads, easy pickings for Marsh who lofts it over square leg for a huge six. Two wide balls to follow. Four!! Another attempted yorler on the stumps, clips Marsh’s bat and runs away to the boundary through fine leg. Yorker outside off to Pooran, can’t get bat on his attempted squeeze through third man. Short ball outside off, pulled to deep midwicket for one. A double to deep midwicket to finish the over.
Spencer Johnson back into the attack. Pooran gets a single to deep square leg off the second ball. Full and wide, Marsh misses his attempted lofted shot over cover. Four!! Wide again, Marsh crunches the backfoot punch through cover for a boundary. Low full toss outside off, single to deep point. Four!! A touch wide from Johnson, Pooran cuts it hard past short-third and finds the boundary. Four!! Length ball outside off again, beats short-third and finds the fence again. Expensive end to the over.
Four!! First ball of Rana’s next has been guided through point and short third man for a boundary. WICKET!! Slower-ball off cutter, beats his defence and cleans up the stumps behind him. The 99-run stand comes to and end.

Nicholas Pooran in at 3. Gets off the mark with a single. 100 up for LSG in the 11th over. Four!! Short and wide outside off, Marsh waits for the slower ball and lofts it over cover for a boundary. Fifty for Mitch Marsh!
Marsh finally gets hold off one against Varun. Thumped over extra cover for a four. Varun immediately switches to around the wicket to open up an angle away from Marsh.
Narine continues to be targetted by the LSG openers. A tad short from the spinner and Marsh cuts it in front of point for a four. Narine keeps it fuller for the rest of the over.
Marsh slices Varun and it looked set to run for a four before Harshit Rana put in a good diving stop at short third. Varun manages to keep the ball away from the Marsh and Markram’s bat swing. Just six runs from the over.
Narine strays into Marsh’s strike zone and is dispatched instantly. Slogged over mid wicket for a six. Short now and Marsh pulls it for a four. Leg sideish from Narine and Marsh paddles it away. Nearly a four. LSG sneak in three there.
Harshit Rana into the attack and Markram takes him on straight away. Slices the pacer for a six past the third man fence. Marsh wants a piece of it too. Picks a slower ball from Harshit and smacks it over long off for a six.
Rahane turns to Varun Chakaravarthy early on. Starts by slanting one into Marsh’s pads. Quick and straight from Varun in his first over. Brilliant start for the Indian spinner as he delivers a boundary less over.
Markram makes room by stepping away from the stump, before lofting Johnson over covers for a four. Johnson goes wide now. Markram punches it for a double. Markram continues to target Johnson, who is struggling to get his length right. Full from him and Markram swings across the line. SIX!!
Arora continues. He persists with his inswingers. Slides one into Marsh, who pushes it for a couple of runs to the leg side. The KKR pacer gives nothing away for the second over straight.
Spencer Johnson to bowl the second over. Full and straight. Clipped away for a four by Markram. Johnson goes full against Marsh too. Smoked over mid wicket for a six, first of the day. Just two singles from the rest of the over.
