Preview
Islamabad United (ISL) will take on Peshawar Zalmi (PES) in the fifth match of the PSL 2025. This match will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. 34 matches will be played throughout the tournament, including the Final. The tournament will be played in a double round-robin format, with each team facing the other teams twice during the league stages.
The teams that finish in the top 2 after the league stages will automatically play the Qualifier Match. The third and fourth-placed teams will play against each other in the Eliminator. The loser of Qualifier and the winner of Eliminator will then play against each other in Eliminator 2. The winner of this game will go on to play the winner of the Qualifier Match in the Final.
Islamabad United won the opening match of the season beating Lahore Qalandars. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi lost the previous match against Quetta Gladiators and will be keen to bounce back. This promises to be an exciting match.
